The modern, clean rooms provide breathtaking views, and waking up to the songs of local birds was truly a highlight. Breakfast was a delightful affair, with a lovely buffet spread featuring local cuisine that you could enjoy at your leisure in the cozy common area, always accompanied by delicious Costa Rican coffee and that irresistible banana bread. My experience was amplified by the attentiveness of the staff; Carlos, at reception, was particularly helpful in assisting with our planned outings to nearby El Tigre Waterfalls and the Hanging Bridges, where we could immerse ourselves in the rich biodiversity of the rainforest. What I appreciated most about Burbi Lake Lodge was its commitment to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions, allowing for genuine connection with nature and meaningful conversations with my companions.
